I've gathered a few facts about him from various works, but I've never been able to find a straight-out biography of him--or even an article devoted to him that's any longer than encyclopedia length. But I think, if I recall correctly, there may be something on him in the same book that Élisabeth's memoirs are drawn from. I could look it up, if you like. It's perfectly reasonable to wonder what the next generation was up to, I think.
