(It's not the only source where I've seen it claimed that she was born in 1771, but what I consider the most reliable sources say she was born in 1768. And logically, if Éléonore was the eldest of four sisters and Élisabeth was the youngest that wouldn't make any sense in any case. How could Sophie and Victoire both have been born between 1771 and 1773?) So I remain somewhat skeptical, though I couldn't swear that it's false. That said, if you know of any other source that says the same, I'd be interested to know about it.
