Oh, wow. The one thing that really stands out from reading this is Elisabeth's bravery. She was in such a difficult position, but she really handled herself incredibly well. I'm just...wow. I hadn't thought in much detail before about what it must have been like for her (and now I wonder why O.o;) after Thermidor, but I'm very impressed now.
And yes, it was depressing. ;.; But her bravery at least makes it a little more uplifting.
