I'm new to livejournal (this is my first posting to a site) and I basically joined it because of this site: I've only ever seen snippets from this and Charlotte Robespierre's memoirs before (the usual out of context stuff and a bit at the end of the English version of Claretie's book on the Desmoulins), so I'm as happy as a pig in muck (or as happy as you can be reading something so sad!).
