I don't think Scurr has come up with anything new, so it's probably not worth it unless you find it cheap! The only thing I know about the socks is from whoever wrote the Amazon 'Desmoulins' page...he doesn't say in his book, by the way, I have her socks...I sleep with them on...or anything like that! Maybe they're languishing in a museum archive somewhere...
