I have seen this anime (you know this) and I liked it so much, mostly drawing, and backgrounds. Actually I started to watch this anime because of Maximilien. I got bit shock , when I saw his blonde hair. "Leaders of the bad guys?" Oh yes, he was evil, so much...that Maxime is nothing to do real one. After all I liked him in the anime.
there are a lot historical confusions in that anime, but I think it is intentional....
