Maybe this is some desperate last attempts of postmodernism? Everything is just about opinion, presentation and there are no such things as actual facts?
It does make the life of a historian so much easier (You don't have to hunt for original sources and waste good time going trough dusty archives. And, you can make fun stuff up)
