By that I don't mean that the communism in Estonia was not "bad". I just mean that descriptive, dry history was practiced there more easily than, for example, a 1960s style French marxist analysis. And that in the university libraries of that time you could find and read the book by conservative 19th century French, British or German historians, but not those written by radical Western Marxist historians in 1960-1980..The paradoxes of life...Sib.
