What a sad date to remember. I lighted a candle for all them: Maxime, Antoine, Georges-Aristide, Philippe, Augustin, François...all of them. My heart is crying drops of blood for them .

I'm not gifted with poetry skills, so I couldn't write anything decent to their souls rests. However, in my Diary, here in LiveJournal, I've written something for Hanriot in a - very bad - prose. It's full of mistakes and bad grammar (since my first language is not English, and English is only the third one) but I wanted to remember him a little, since he's the less known of all of them. I've written my little tale in first person, as it was Hanriot himself who wrote it.

What a sad day...*sigh*

I wracked my brain for something meaningful and private to do in honor of the 215th anniversary of those terrible hours. However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that there are few things one can do that are more important than what Maelicia has done in protest of the BBC's grotesque representations of the Robespierristes.
