Well, revolution_fr celebrates its first birthday on June 11th. As we approach that date, I'm just wondering...is there anything you guys would like to see more of in the future? A weekly/monthly discussion point? More fics/art/icons (I know they exist, but very few people seem to use the comm to advertise them)? More reviews? Naked Saint-Just?

And on that same note - does it actually feel like it's been a whole year to anyone? XD;

In lieu of a weekly/monthly discussion topic (which would be wonderful, I think!) perhaps we could choose a figure relating to the French revolution for each month or so and people could post topics relating to them... that's my two cents, anyhow. ;-)

Hmm...since I'm seeing that a monthly point probably won't work, I was thinking of having a weekly one, but each month's topics would fall into a specific category (e.g. - "Week One - Event; Week Two - Person; Week Three - Faction [although I'm not sure how long we'd be able to go with that]; Week Four - ...I'm not sure yet. XD;), and there would be kind of a heightened interest in posts pertaining to that topic. Which is sort of like what you said, I think.

Random idea:I think it would be fun to have book discussions, since we've all read some of the same fiction/ non-fiction on our dear Revolutionaries.

How about a rousing, "OMG WHAT DID YOU DO TO ROBESPIERRE BARONESS ORCZY" rant, or a "OMG WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE FRENCH REVOLUTION CHARLES DICKENS" discussion?
