Looking for information about Marat

Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good and informative book about Marat? Biography, or good piece of fiction? Informative webcites?

Usually my main interest is Saint-Just (I sort of fell in love while reading some nasty stuff about him in Aubry's old book) but Marat interests me too, because he "was around" from the beginning.  Are there any scans from his L'Ami du Peuple paper to be found online? Also, if someone here has written any fictional stuff about him, I'm more than happy to read it.

Because this is my first entry here, I have to introduce myself to be polite:
I'm finnish, but moving soon to study historical and cultural studies in UK. I've studied design and cultural history for some years and publiched a (small) book about visual culture during the Revolution (symbols, art, fashion etc.) I've loved French Revolution as far back as I can remember. Apologies for my vampiric userpic. I'm an amateur horror writer.

I'm not much help in this regard, but as I recall, there WAS a fair bit about him in Vive la Revolution by Mark Steel (hilarious book, a few errors, but overall worth the read). I have Peter Weiss's play Marat/Sade, but I haven't gotten around to reading it as yet, so I can't vouch for the quality.

I'm a St. Just/Robespierre girl myself, so I don't have much in the way of Marat, but I can vouch for the quality of Marat/Sade....or at least, I can vouch for it's hilarity.
There's a fair bit of music in it, and Judy Collins recorded some of it in a song called, simply, Marat/Sade. If you want it, I can upload it for you, just let me know. :-) Welcome to the collective Revolution fun!

I'm a St. Just girl too, but I found most of other revolutionaries also terribly interesting. I've red about this Marat/Sade thingy, gotta hunt for it in libraries I quess...

There's a good biography of Marat by Jean Massin if you can read French; if you can't, I'm afraid I can't help you.

This, is the GREATEST book on Marat I have EVER read - YOU HEAR ME? Absolutly AMAZING! It has his ENTIRE life in this, in depth analyse of his research, anything you could possibly imagine on Marat - right here.

:D Best of luck finding it! It's rather scarce, but well worth it when you get your hands on it! I happen to have found it in my University's library, they had JUST gotten a copy about a month before school was over. It's on half.com for about 50$ US though, if I'm correct!

I bought the DVD, it was worth it! It's NUTS and the songs are catchy :D
