Okay, so before I type my little snippet, just a word, I'm moving and I have no idea when I'll get internet connection so I might miss next week, yep - and because I'm moving, I've got a billion things to do and my stuff is everywhere, so yeah!

SO! Since I've gotten feedback saying that his childhood is of interest to you guys - let's talk about his native home!

For those who don't know, he was born in Boudry, May 24th 1743,

His home was situated downtown between the Prefecture's office and a hostel. It was a small, low house that wasn't very distinguishing to the rest of the neighborhood. The ground floor of it was a grocery store. On the first floor, was a large room and in this room he was born. Nowadays, it's a billiard room - which has two paintings of him hanging.  (I DO have the address in my notes somewhere if anybody wants it :D)

Next time, I'll go into details about his parents! :D

I want to hear about his pre-revolutionary friendship with Brissot. I put forward that request for a future Marat Monday.
