The house plans were done by Victorien Sardou~! But if you're asking from what book (for these are scans of photocopies I made of books because Marat books are much too expensive for me :C) It's from Marat inconnu :l’homme prive, le medecin, le savant(191?) from Auguste Cabanes. It's an absolutly amazing book and well worth it! Most of these pics are from it!
Wow, I'd never seen a great many of these before--and doubtless some of them will prove useful. In the meantime they're very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, the one of him being assassinated (where's the BATH?!) and "Marat's first speech at the convention" (for the random bust of some Greek or Roman, by the looks of things). I often find drawings etc. from the time period and otherwise amusing, I possibly have an odd sense of humour...
LOL! No, I laughed at the same things! These pictures drew me in because of their eccentricity! The handwritting one makes me laugh all the times, and the one with his long curly hair!
These are great! I particularly like the second to last pic (very debonair for Marat!) What's the Imprimerie Marat one? Is it a 1960's / 70's flyer for something?
