Hello
I've been watching this community for about three weeks or so
I recently became interested in french revolutionaries (particularly Robespierre >_<)
but since I don't live in the states .. I can't get useful books on french revolution
It's so sad......I have to wait for like six weeks for my books ( i had to make special order T T)
Unfortunately, I don't have anything to show you except badly drawn picture
I never knew Robespierre was so humane before doing some research (you know what textbooks say)
although my friend says "[i] only like Robespierre because he's as evil as [I am]" -_-;;;
ps. I tried photobucket hopefully it shows. hopefully........

Unfortunally, it seems you didn't upload the picture right, if you need a place to do it, photobucket.com is really good for that
...
maybe i put the wrong url or something
i'll try photobucket ^^

I can suggest library and internet. If you put Robespierre or other revolutionaires's names to google, you can find very good sites. Or look around in this community:)
I don't know french revolution books were translated to Korean...but in Hungary there are some good books too. I don't use to often find useful book in hungarian also....
....
I use google often except when i get to like page 10 the sites are not in english anymore T T
i tried library except korean national library doesn't really have much on revolution and the ones that are there are unfortunately, mostly in french
hopefully my books will arrive soon.....
Re: ....
Are you familiar with the Korean manga "Thermidor" by Hyerin Kim? The author's website is here (http://kimhyerin.com/), you can check it out.
Re: ....
but i wonder, why does Robespierre look so um...old in many pop culture....like in Berubara, he looks like he's like in mid 40s or something...but he's supposed to be about the same age as Lady Oscar...oh and Saint-Just, he's supposed to be about ten years younger than Lady Oscar and he......omg...just because he was involved in reign of terror doesn't mean he was a "terrorist." T T
