I found this online in the small hours of yesterday morning while not doing my French homework. I thought it was pretty funny, but I should probably include the disclaimer that, this near the end of the semester, anything that is not my classwork or study abroad applications is pretty funny. Nonetheless, I am trusting that people in a saner state of mind than myself may also get a laugh out of this:

*shrugs* The author's implicit pop culture-reactionary interpretations ruin the humor for me.

I'm inclined to agree with [livejournal.com profile] estellacat - well, and it just seems a bit overdone. I did giggle at this though:

Tell them your "Bastille" (the kitchen cabinet) needs to be stormed by the entire group so they can liberate some cupcakes. When the group finds only five cupcakes, you can drive home the lesson that the real Bastille was mostly empty that fateful day.

Apparently because I like taunting small children. But I think it would have been cleverer to refer to bread rioting or something. Reminds me of the Bastille Day when [livejournal.com profile] elvenmongoose and I made water-and-potato soup in solidarity with the People...
