revolution_frThis is the 207th anniversary of le 18 brumaire, which was of course the day when General Napoléon Bonaparte launched his lovely coup d'état on the Directory and formed the Consulate, an act that many consider to be the end of the French Revolution. Long live First Consul Bonaparte!
