Les vrais républicains ne célèbrent pas et ne se souhaitent pas "joyeux Noël".

25 December is an insignificant date in the Revolutionary Calendar which only refers to 5 nivôse, a day on which Robespierre, the Committee of Public Safety, the Convention, the Representatives on Mission, the soldiers, the People, etc. work too, as this report of Robespierre on the principles of the Revolutionary Government (http://membres.lycos.fr/discours/gouvernement%20revolutionnaire.htm) is an example of.

In other words, have respect for those who don't celebrate Christmas because: they are from another religion; they just don't adhere to a religion in particular, have a particular spirituality or are atheist and don't wish to be bothered by Christmas. Kthxbyeyaylulz?

Nota: Your fanart is pretty, but I completely fail to see how the Final Fantasy thing is related at all to the French Revolution and I really can't understand from your post how it can be relevant. Also, not playing the game, and not knowing of it, I can't understand what those cards mean.

~ Sincerely yours, or salut et fraternité,
The Unofficial Angry, Enraged, Petulant and Flouncing Guard Dog of the Community. Which is only relevant if you've seen LRF. Lol.
