Picspam: Weekend & Paper Dolls

Salut,

Today's picspam is a double feature. I took screen shots of Saint-Just from Goddard's film Week End and scanned a few pages of The French Revolution: Paper dolls to cut out.







I'm not going to review Week End because it's a Goddard, and I'll leave it at that. In my opinion, it's one of the best worst films of all time. I hated watching it, but I loved the wierd taste it left in my brain afterwards.

Now on the the paper doll book of Revolutionary cuteness! I would've scanned the whole thing, but the book is wider than my scanner and it was a royal pain in the ass to even scan these. Click the thumbnails to enlarge.

Isn't he adorable!!!!! Oh, I wish the boy dolls came with an extra set of clothes. Only about half the gals had extra dresses. Are you going to draw extra clothes to put on him? :)

Hey, I agree: Marat is absolutely adorable there. I am so impressed. A Marat drawn prettily with pink-blushed cheeks. :O
