Hey! :D

As your esteemed bloodthirsty dictator moderator, I would like to kick things off here with a welcome and a few suggestions.

WHAT UP. Huzzah, hurrah and even hurrooh, a French Revolution community finally exists. Let's have a blast~

As far as suggestions, well, actually, I've only got two...

~Would anyone be up for creating a reference post? What I mean is, a list of movies, books, websites, and other things that concern the French Revolution. I don't think my knowledge is quite extensive enough (In other words: I BE A N00B). But if anyone else's is...yeah.

~What if we had, like, a quarterly icontest? Or a fiction or art conest? Would anyone actually contribute? (Of course, maybe I should wait until there's more members to ask this. XD)

Does anyone else have any other ideas?

I'd willing, not at this precise moment, but I have seen quite a few good things and I wouldn't mind sharing (and I've got a couple listed in my LJ)

I would contribute art, but nothing more merely because my writtings in english are pretty bad. And I have no talent for icons, but art, I would be ready and willing!

Oh! Right now I'm translating's Marat's "L'ami du Peuple" and I wouldn't mind posting it here :3

See, that was also an idea I had because I'm quite sure most of us have probably seen and read a mass of different things (like I know I watched and read lots in french) so, a good collection would be great, I'll try and start it up this week!

I will! I'll post it by articles merely because their is a LOT to translate and it's hard to find the english word equivalent to his exceedingly angry french words (I'm broadening my vocabulary! :D)
