I see what you mean. However, if Élisabeth Le Bas's memoirs are to be believed, Augustin introduced Le Bas to Charlotte and Élisabeth while they were in the gallery of the Convention. Presumably he could have introduced other colleagues (including Saint-Just) in the same way.
