Very interesting. :/ I've never managed to glean much information on Elisabeth and I've sort of wanted to all along (I think I read about her in some ancient, horribly saccharine biography about two years ago, but nothing since). It's also fun looking at their lifestyle in general - the Convention as a social venue, the family dynamics, etc. It's kind of too bad that there isn't more emotional insight, like how and why she ended up falling for Le Bas... but I suppose that wasn't the purpose, which I presume has to do with both the style of the time and Elisabeth's personality. It gives more to speculate on, anyway.
