Thoughts on The Terror by David Andress~

I am about 1/4 of the way through the book, and I must say that it is quite good so far. Any thought?

It's been invaluable when writing my essay. Him and Gwynne Lewis are amazing, and I've grown not to like Schama.

This is on my summer reading list (French Revolution fans have the most interesting beach reading), so I'm curious to hear what people think of it.

I have been reading many of the standard works on the revolution lately, including William Doyle, DMG Sutherland, Isser Woloch (especially on Napoleon), Francois Furet, and Palmer's "12 Who Ruled", still the best book on the Committee of Public Safety. I found Andress to be very good, although less scholarly and more for general readers than the others.
